Kostas Murkudis is a fashion designer born in Dresden, Germany, to Greek parents, studying at Lette-Verein in Berlin. He began his career as Helmut Lang’s first assistant for seven years before launching his own label, presenting men’s and women’s collections in Paris from 1996 to 2001. He later served as creative director for New York Industrie under Staff International. In addition to his own collections, Kostas Murkudis frequently collaborates as a consultant and freelance designer for high-end and luxury brands.
